Another One Bites The Dust

Just lost another cat to road traffic. Only lasted five months this time.
RIP Boris.

So, what's new then.

I've been and removed my fireplace, much as I liked it. It was time to put in something more efficient and less draughty. Well that's the theory anyway. But as usual it turned into a "wish I hadn't started" scenario.

After removing the fireplace. Difficult to see here but about 50% of the brickwork supporting the lintel has been removed to get the surround to fit.



Now with the back boiler and the bricks and concrete removed.

Cats, cats, cats

So, it's been a while. Summer has been and gone, although it was difficult to tell. I can't remember such a wet, dull and dismal summer.
My garden has been a failure again. The sunflowers are just starting to flower as the frosts start, and my poor little ginger kitteh got run over.
And the TV's allbloody repeats, cookery prog's and so called celebrity pish.
Still, here's a picture of the new kitteh, Boris. Fat little bastard that he is.
And I'm fucked if I know why the text has all gone underlined too.


Mostly I have been listening to all sorts of shit including; Laura Marling, Mastodon, Anthrax, Feist etc.
